Oh yeah, it's time for something really funky! 😉
Those were the days when I first heard funk music - I really love it all time. 🙂
Okay, speaking of the track, I started composing it shortly after AmiParty XXX (which took place in September 2023) being still inspired by that night when we've listened to Herbie Hancock with MarX, Virago and Codi.
I remember that I had to go pick up newest Beastars book from my local manga shop, but suddenly that bass line started playing in my head and I just couldn't leave home without recording it before. And that's how this track has been started. 😉
And just yesterday I decided to finish this track after walking at Felin day before (this place inspires me a lot - that's the only place in Lublin where I feel really, really good).

Okay, enough talking, I guess.

Inspired by: Jazzcat's music, Herbie Hancock, listening to Herbie Hancock at AmiParty with Codi, Virago and Marx, Walkman's music, Otis's music, AmiParty, Chełm, Białawin, Lublin, Felin, my old times (especially 2001 and 2006 year), long walks, coffee, Tangerine Dream, Kombi (especially "Przytul mnie" song), Andrzej Korzyński, Winicjusz Chróst, Sławomir Wesołowski, Mariusz Zabrodzki, GrambledEggs, Dio character drawn by SamashTommy.

Fun fact: I had to jokingly name this track "Foxy Funkock" to note how much I was inspired by master Herbie to create this, but then I thought that my amateur music cannot even be compared to his masterpieces. 😉 I thought also about "Feline" to joke with name of my favorite Lublin's district "Felin", but this title would be really incomprehensible and strange. So I decided to name it just "Sunset Memories" as I really love listening to funk music on autumn sunsets. 🙂
